Spacial Change.
I’m the type of person that brings on change. Certain kinds of changes. Easy changes. Ya know, like rearranging bedrooms or living rooms to make you feel like you made a huge change, when really you’re just playing shuffleboard. I live for that.
Last weekend we purchased a shelving unit to add to our slim pickins’ of decorations around here. Originally it was to make its home in the living area, but I wasn’t feeling it, so we moved it downstairs in the bedroom. With a little rearranging of the bed, we have a new setup in the room.
Also, nerd husband of mine made it possible for us to watch TV on our computer. This is fabulous, especially with the new bed arrangement. I may never leave.
We also took it upon ourselves to add some artwork to the walls upstairs. Originally wanting to put four squares of fabric together, we ended up with three skinny frames because the lady at the fabric store gave us a yard less of fabric. All in all, it was a fun project. Robot bought a jigsaw and nailed the frames together and we canvased the fabric with a heavy duty stapler. We can’t wait to own a home and do more projects around the house. Hurrah for us!
New Blog. New Year. New You.
Check out the new blog. Our last template was fine, but it made it difficult to blog independently from one another. At first, we thought, “Hey, we could blog on the same topics and be all together and stuff”. And then it became more of a hassle to blog. Not only is it hard to motivate myself to write, but then convincing someone else to write at the same time on the same subject…it’s just not practical. So this is our dream site. I can now write about whatever I want, whenever I want and it doesn’t affect ROBOT’s thought process one bit. How great is that? (It’s great, in case you had a different answer.)
Keep checking back for updates. The format is pretty much there, but the heading may change, JSYK. Hope you like.
